Arsene Wenger has insisted Alexis Sanchez won’t be sold, but that won’t stop PSG making an enormous bid to sign the Arsenal attacker.
The French club is ready to make a stunning £70 million ($115m) offer for the Chilean attacker, who has a year left on his Gunners contract, according to The Mirror.
PSG believe Sanchez could join PSG given Arsenal don’t want to sell him to a Premier League rival such as Manchester City.
Also, the Ligue 1 side is reportedly prepared to pay the forward’s wage demand (to sign a new Arsenal deal) of £400,000-a-week.
According to The Guardian, Sanchez and his agent Fernando Felicevich held talks in Paris with PSG sporting director Antero Henrique over a move.
They reportedly met at the five-star Royal Monceau Raffles, with Sanchez arriving in a limousine.
According to the report, the club and player’s representatives are close to an agreement on a deal, and PSG will make an opening offer.
